Japanese Cabbage Salad
Mix together in large bowl: 2 heads Sui Choy (Japanese Cabbage) chopped 2 green onions, chopped Mix together in container with sealed lid and place in fridge: 1/2 cup salad oil 1/2 cup vinegar 1/3 cup sugar In fry pan mix together: 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup slivered almonds 1/2 cup sesame seeds 2 pkg. Ichiban noodles, (crushed) With moderate heat, stirring all the while, cook until golden in color and remove from heat to cool. WHEN READY TO SERVE, MIX THE FLAVOUR PKGS FROM THE NOODLES WITH THE OIL/VINEGAR MIXTURE. DUMP THE ALMOND/SEED MIXTURE INTO SALAD GREENS, TOSS TO MIX. POUR THE DRESSING ON, TOSS TO MIX WELL AND SERVE | |
