Entry Forms: www.rainbowhorseclub.com or at Bridles & Bits. Entry forms and payment must be received by Aug 5, 2011 or a Post Entry Fee of $20 will be applied. All Checks payable to Dallas Noble. Entry Fees are $6/class or, $40/day rate. If entering the day of, please bring a completed Registration Form. Must show HCBC card at Show Office.
Stalls: Stall fees are $10 each. Stalls must be left as found. All hay and garbage must be removed. A separate cheque of $20 will be required as a cleaning deposit and returned the same day. Camping available at fairgrounds for $12 per family per night.
Prizes: Flat ribbons to 6th place. Trophies for Hi-Point and Rosettes for Reserve for each Division/Discipline. There will be Year End Hi-Point Awards for Paint and for each Division/Discipline. Coolers for Hi-Point and saddle blankets for Reserve.
RULES
Rainbow Horse Club hosts several shows throughout year. These are fun shows for those who don’t want the pressure of the recognized shows or just aren’t quite ready for prime time! The goal is to have a fun and provide a safe outing with your horse! All shows will run under the General Performance Rules set out by Equine Canada.
1. Entry Fees are made payable to Dallas Noble. Day rate of $40 or $6 a class entitles 1 horse and 1 rider combination to ride. Post Entry fee is $20 if payment is not received by Post Entry date. Entries and payment can be mailed to the address shown on the Registration Form, or to Bridles & Bits.
2. Horse Council of B.C. membership cards must be shown the day of the show or the rider will not be able to show.
3. Horse Show Office will be open 1 hour prior to the first class of the day.
4. Riders Age Divisions As of January 1 of the current year. Pee Wee is 8 and Under (walk/trot only), Jr. is 9 to 13 (walk/trot only), Intermediate is 14 to 18 and Sr. is 19 and over.
5. Show Attire Boots with a heel and English Helmet or Western hat are required. Tack to be in good working order.
6. The Show Committee reserves the right to excuse any lame or sick horse. Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Show Committee.
7. Stabling Competitors with stalls are responsible for completely cleaning/stripping and sweeping their stall, if their stall is left un-clean , their clean stall deposit (separate cheque) will not be returned.
8. Overnight Camping is permitted on the grounds, by reservation and is $12 per family. There are no hookups available.
9. All Dogs must be kept on a leash WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for the competitor’s safety.
10. Stallions Must be handled and shown only be senior exhibitors 19 years and older in Senior classes and open classes only. NO cross entry with Junior, Intermediate, or Walk/Trot.
11. Grounds Cleanliness around the ground areas, your stall(s), trailers, campers, and the bleachers are the responsibility of everyone. Please clean up before going home.
12. Break length and time will be announced show day.
13 .Patterns will be posted the day of the show.
14.Whipper-In Report 5 minutes before the class and wait for the Whipper-In’s instructions on entering the gate.
15. Non-Competitive Classes To ride non-competitively, you must only ride in your Division that you are showing in. No cross entering into other Divisions.
16. Green Horse walk/trot/canter for riders with green horses who are in their 1st or 2nd season of showing.
17. Walk/Trot Classes are designed for the Rider or Horse that needs more experience. Any age rider or horse is permitted to enter this class. However, if you show in Walk/Trot, you are not permitted to cross enter into a class that lopes. Riders or horses in their 1st year of showing (all youth are eligeable).
18. Pee Wee is a walk/trot class for ages 8 and under. Can not cross enter into classes that require loping. Classes to co-inside with the Jr. Divisions classes but to be judged separately unless class sizes are too large then they will be seperated. Must wear an approved riding helmet.
19. Jr. Division is 9 to 13 years and is walk/trot only. A competitor may transfer into the Intermediate Division if they wish to lope/canter.
20. Intermediate Division is 14 to 18 years of age and is w/t/c.
21. Sr. Division is 19 and up and is w/t/c.
22. High Point Awards for the Day Rosettes/Trophies will be handed out the day of the show to all Divisions in English and Western. Trophy to Hi-Point and Rosette to Reserve. There will also be Hi-Point Paint but there must be at least 2 registered Paints entered in the show to receive this and you must be a member of BCPHC.
23. “Year-End” High Point Awards Trophies and coolers will be given out at the end of the year to those that have earned the most points in their Division in English and/or Western and for Paint owners that are members of B.C. Paint. Rosettes and saddle blankets to Reserve in each Division in English and Western.
24. Jumping Classes Those that are entered in Walk/Trot/Jog classes can not cross-enter into jumping classes that require loping.
