Directions

- From Qualicum Beach

- take Hwy 4 towards Port Alberni,

- Continue past the Coombs Junction

- Go past Hilliars Rd North and about 200 meters farther you will see the Firehall and SAR hall sign on the Right hand side.

- Park behind the hall in the large gravel area, leaving room for vehicles to drive around the hall

We are planning on having a pot-luck lunch. Please bring a dish or desert. Disposable plates and cutlery will be provided..

Sunday, 15 March, 10:00 AM to 2 PM (approximate)

Go for a 2 to 3 hour ride and practice using the map, compass and mostly the GPS.

Note: If participants bring their own gps, they have to know the following:

How to program / change the settings on their GPS

How to make and save a Track

How to make a Waypoint

How to clear Tracks and Waypoints
