This is an 4 hour pledge ride to raise money for cancer research.
Ride Date: August 21st
CAMPING AVAILABLE FROM AGUST 20-22
Dinner on the Friday night is going to be BBQ Chicken and the chickens are being donated by Whitta Farms. Chef Gerd Voigt of Paradise Acres Ranch would be
donating his time and preparing the food on Friday night - Thank you!
There will also be the usual BBQ Beef, beans, buns and salad.
Tickets are available now, and only $5.00 for riders and $10.00 for
non-riders. Everyone can afford to bring their friends and buy them
dinner, or at least sell them some tickets.
Breakfast will be provided and cooked by the St. Colombo men's church group
Saturday morning and is free to all riders. Serving starts about 7:30 or 8:00 am
Dinner later on Saturday after all the riders have returned, is going to be Burger BBQ provided by the White Spot.
Prizes will be awarded after dinner. Saddle for most pledges collected!
Remember also this year the Cancer Society is providing pledge forms for
everyone to fill out directly. These are official donation forms and this
way the Society ladies don't have to transfer all the names and info onto
them the day of the ride. The forms can be picked up at the Cancer Society
office on 2nd Ave in QB or from Sue Sheppard.
Get out there and get lots of pledges, we are having a lot of publicity on
the ride this year and hope to get more riders from our club participating
this year than ever before. There are many different routes to take this
year to accomodate all riding skills, levels and styles; fast or slow,
relaxing or exciting, wet or dry. There is something for everyone
Friday Night dinner tickets available $5.00 for riders- $10.00 for non riders
Breakfast day of ride and White Spot burgers to follow
Poker hands $5.00 per hand pre-register and $10.00 day of ride
